PRIEST IN CHARGE
In July 2006, it was announced that the Vicar of Pocklington, Revd Chris Simmons would be appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Londesborough Group of Churches. The licensing by the Bishop of Selby, Rt Revd Martin Wallace, took place at Londesborough Church on Wednesday, 13th October 2006.
Previously, a Curate (Revd Shelagh Jones) had been appointed to the Group in June 2004. She still works on a non-stipendary, occasional basis in the Group, but now works full-time as a Prison Chaplain.
